Query About Doctor's Statement
Doctor, I'm Having Astigmatism. For This, I'm Having Ghosting/Shadowed Image. I Have Diagnosed With Astigmatism by A Doctor With Slit-Lamp. I Have No KC. After Wearing Glasses, The Ghosting Image Reduced But Not Fully Gone. I Reported This To The Doctor. Then The Doctor Told Me That The Remnant Ghosting Image is Normal And Will Presist. I Asked The Doctor Why It is Normal. Then The Doctor Told Me That - "You Have Astigmatism. In The Condition, Cornea Become Football Shape Instead Basketball Shape. Eyeglasses And Soft Contact Lenses Are Only Correct Perfect Regular Astigmatism. But, Human Cornea Can't be Perfect. It Has A Variation Like Potato. Glasses Can Only Fix Football Shaped Astigmatism. For This, Most Of The Ghosting Can Be Fixed With Glasses But Not Fully. For This, Some Ghosting Image Usually Remain Even After Wearing Glasses". I Also Take A Second Opinion And Second Doc Told Same As First Doctor. Now, Is My Doctor(s) Statement 100% Correct?
