Doctor, I Had Keratoconjunctivitis. Due To This, Small White Spots Appeared in My Cornea. I Have Used "Hylo Gel" Named Lubricant Eye Gel For 7-10 Months And After That The Doctor Told Me That Many Spots Are Faint Now. He Recommended Me To Continue The Drop And He Told Me That The Spots Will Go Away But It Will Take Time. Doctor Called It As "L/E Stromal Opacity" Now, I Have Some Queries Related To The Spots. Please Answer, Doc.
1) Why The Small White Spots Appeared in My Cornea?
2) Is The Spots Appeared Due To The Replacement Of Damaged/Destroyed Corneal Tissue by Scar Tissue?
3) Is The Small White Spots Damaged/Distorted My Cornea's Tissue(s)?
4) How Will The Small White Spots Heal/Faint/Disappear With Time? Will The Tissues Of The Places (Where These Small White Spots Are Present) In My Cornea Be Reborn?
5) If The Tissue Reborn, Will The Reboring Process Form/Create/Develop New Scar Tissue in My Cornea (Like Tissue Reborning Process in Corneal Ulcer Healing/After Healing Time)?
