Query About Cornea's Spot Healing
Doctor, I'm 14 Years Old. I Had Keratoconjunctivitis. Due To This, Small White Spots Appeared in My Cornea. The Doctor Called This As "L/E Stromal Opacity".Doctor Prescribed Me To Use Lubricant Eye Gel Called " Hylo Gel".After Using The Gel For 7-10 Months, The Doctor Told Me That Many Spots Are Faint Now. He Told Me To Continue The Gel And Also Told That The Spot Will Go Away With Time. I Have Also Take A Second Opinion About This And The Second Doctor Also Examined Me And Recommended Me The Same Things Which The First Doctor Was Recommended And The Second Doctor Also Diagnosed Me With The Same "L/E Stromal Opacity" Like The First Doctor And He Told Me The Same Things As The First Doc Told Me. However, Now I Have Some Query About The Spots. 1) How Will The Spots Heals? Will The Spots Heal by Creating New Scar Tissue in Cornea With The Help Of Fibrosis (Like Corneal Ulcer)? 2) In The Spots Healing/Fainting/Disappearing Process, Will Fibrosis Interfere in The Healing Process? Pls Ans.
