Main side effects are 1. Nausea and vomitings 2. Loss of appetite 3. Hairloss 4. Decrease in blood counts like hemoglobin, platelets, white blood cells further leading to infections - nausea and vomiting - usually ur oncologist will.keep u on anti emetics - loss of appetite - having food in small quantities but. multiple times will help - hairloss - unfortunately this is unavoidable. But usually it will grow back after chemo cycles are completed - blood counts- ideally u r supposed to monitor CBP every week and if there is any fall as per the need , should receive medication or transfusion as per ur oncologist advise Look out symptoms: fever, cough or loose stools ( can happen because of infection) , any bleeding gums or rash... If any such things happen immediately consult ur oncologist

Hi    Firstly sorry for the pereson diagnosed with lymphoma. BUT the good thing is that is curable in 80 to 90%. Main side effects are vomiting and fever due to neutropenia.
Next Steps
your doctor will give u antiemetics to prevent vomiting. For neutropenia u have to monitor CBP once in 5 days or 7days and inform ur doctor. Also need to do CBP immediately if fever spike occurs and inform ur doctor so that ur doctor can start iv antibiotics as early as possible
