I consulted a physician who prescribed me clavam 625 2 times after meal for 5 days... But I was tensed so I visited a surgeon after 2 days and he suggested to take augmentin 625 and suggested to take 3 time per day ... Very nonspecific and irrelevent question.. there is no photo attached. No explanation about the degree of infection.. both clavam and augmentin are same combination of drug.. 3 times a day is used only in very severe infection. Does it warrent for your case? I have no idea and without a image no comment can be passed either..

Deep cut with iron requires assessment for presence of foreign body and thorough wound washes followed by antibiotics and pain killers.
Next Steps
if pus is still coming out of the wound, be it even minimal, you have to see a surgeon who will do assess the wound and decide about medications accordingly.
