Puss formation on one nipple

Asked for Female, 30 Years

I am a mother to first child. There is a small pimple like formation on my right nipple with puss like oozing out now and often. Is it healthy to continue feeding my child. Consulted a doctor and says its OK. But I am confused. Kindly advice me.
