Puss formation in abdomen
My friend has given birth to a baby last week. Her stitches were removed yesterday. I saw puss formation in her lower abdomen. She is also having great pain in right abdomen. please advise for speedy recovery.

Hello there..... I went through your query..... It is due to formation of stitch abscess..... stitch abscess is a complication of surgery. It can lead to. superficial cellulitis and even deeper seated infection. It can also. affect the aesthetic outcome of the surgery..... She will need the antibiotics coverage for few days.... Consult surgeon they will do the needful.....
