Purple spot on the corner of sclera
Hi doctor, I wear glasses from my childhood, I have minus power. suddenly I noticed some purplish spot on the outer corner of the white part of my left eye. There is no irritation and stuff like that. Just the spot. I am attaching the picture of it with my query. Can you please tell me do I need to visit an ophthalmologist physically urgently ?? Is there anything to be worried about?? I haven't checked my eyes since many years. Thanks.

Hi .. Mostly , it looks like pigmentation ..no need to worry ... Having said that, if you have number and not seen a docotr for many years, would be a good idea to do a check up..for general betterment ....no emergency though! All the best !
