Pulse rate is above 90
My father's pulse rate is between 90-100 when we take from BP machine .BP is normal.His pulse is above 86 in oximeter.He takes medicine for high BP daily once in morning.Is the pulse rate normal?

Pulse rate between 55-90bpm is acceptable. Some people have higher resting heart rates. The above values are acceptable. Try to check pulse when he is rested lying down calm. However if it is disturbing him you can check his Hemoglobin, Thyroid profile to rule out other causes of high resting heart rate. A routine ECG can be done. However nothing of immediate concern in above values.
