Since 2 days back I have a pulsating sound in my left ear. This sounds like a heartbeat. What might be the reason for this ? And is there any cure ?

The most common reason is that due to the cold season, your Eustachian Tubes are blocked, so the sounds from the Carotids below the ear canal become more audible as external sounds are muted. However, it could also be a Glomus Tumour. Only a meticulous clinical examination by a good ENT Surgeon can help differentiate between the two.
