Hi doctor,
Can prucalopride just relieve the constipation symptoms or it will cure the constipation permanently..please suggest..I was diagnosed with Slow transit constipation..I am not responding to laxatives..so doctor prescribed me this medicine..

Prucalapride INCREASES gut motility but it can be taken for few months time. Longer course have not been advised.
Also before starting prucalapride it has to be ruled out if any FECOLITH are not there.
