Proximal Humerus fracture
Looking at the 3d reconstruction, would you advise on starting physiotherapy or keep the shoulder on sling. This is a CT scan of 4 weeks old proximal humerus fracture treated conservatively. The x-ray of shoulder AP is also attached. And right now I feel certain pain. Is it due to nerve damage or joint problem. Regards

I would wait for 6 weeks to be complete on view of communition at fracture site.. The pain usually reduces by 4 weeks and so the patients tend to avoid listening to the doctor and start moving that's when the problem comes.. Wait it out..

This is a comminuted proximal humerus fracture. Wait for additional 2 weeks to start shoulder movements . You can start elbow and wrist movements from now, if you are not doing that.
