Is it advisable to take protien supplements. Some websites say that it may lead to kidney stones. Like Whey Protien.

The protein requirement of any individual is 1 gm per kg body weight.So if you are 50kgs you will require 50gms of protein a day. Vegetarians get about 25 gms from food and non vegetarians get 35 gms.To fill the gap protein supplements help.However choose a plant based protein supplement rather than animal based because along with protein you dont add cholesterol in plant based ones
