Hello, My Father's PT INR is 17.1 sec, 1.43 respectively. He is a non drinker, non smoker, never had Hepatitis. He has been taking CIPLAR beta blocker from 5 years, since he was diagnosed with Small varisces.
In his LFT, all levels are normal, bilirubin is slightly elevated. Ultrasound of Liver shows nothing serious.
Please help me understand the problem.

Elevated INR, Bilirubin, varices( portal hypertension) suggests chronic liver disease ( cirrhosis). It may be due to NASH.. is your father diabetic.? You can share the ultrasound report too...
