My dad has enlarged prostrate of 103 gm. He is on cathether starting Aug 14 & PSA scores recorded are : 15.9 ng/mL (Aug 24) 10.19 ng/mL (Sep 12) 34.41 ng/mL (Sep 28) After DRE examination performed by an Urologist on Sep 2 he said you can operate and he doesn't feel any cancerous thing. What should we do now? And in case it's cancerous how to decide ton treatment?

Can get TRUS biopsy done if suspicious of cancer. Else can go ahead with the surgery and wait for the histology report.
