Prostate & bladder
I'm a 31 year old male. I have had weak urination since i was about 22. Feeling as if i have emptied my bladder then 30m later i have to go again. I sometimes get a random shooting pain in my rectum, but not consistently. Maybe once or twice every other month. also some phantom pains in my bladder and along the sides. I also notice it is easier to urinate after i have a bowel movement. I was prescribed Finasteride 5mg two tabs once daily and Tamsulosin 0.4mg once daily. I was just wondering if this is the correct course of action. I have not had a blood, urine or physical examination. Should i have one before starting these medications or do the medications my doctor prescribed cover the symptoms?
