Prominent renal pelvic
I am 21 weeks pregnant and had gone for TIFFA SCAN,scan shows that bilateral prominent renal pelvis.RT 3.4 LT 3.6. Is this a major problem

It is a common finding on ultrasound scans (USS) performed during pregnancy. Often it is temporary and not associated with any problems in the kidney or ureter. As the size is if > 5mm at 20 - 29 weeks is significant. For you it's 3.4 & 3.6. Nothing to worry.
