Sir i have been prescribed an injection by doctor vivek som for some retinal desease which he says increases the sugar level in blood and he found no vision improvement after one dose last night and he advised me to consult you for further treatment so could you please tell me what to do and that injection costs 1000 rs which is too much, so please what to do next sir??

The opthalmologist is the best person to advise regarding the utility of injection and also about how much of improvement and by when is it expected.
A diabetologist is needed to control the blood sugar levels which might shoot up if the injection is steroid. Kindly provide further details
