Problem of headache every other day
I'm having severe I'd rather say crippling headaches every other day. I've consult a doctor earlier she told me I've got migraine and gave me some pain killers. But it is so frequenct that I've become less productive and it's affecting my daily life and job. Please suggest me some remedies coz pain killers are not having any effect on my migraine now.

I won't prefer any medicine for migraine over here but will suggest you some life style changes as well as get yourself checked for B.P also.

The following remedies will be of help: - Avoid these foods as they have shown a character to trigger a migrane(red wines, aged cheeses, preservatives used in smoked meats (nitrates), monosodium glutamate, artificial sweeteners, chocolate, and dairy products, alcohol) - When the migrane comes immediately go into a dark quiet room and rest as this may give you some immediate relief - Destress yourself with practices such as yoga, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation) - Maintain a regular schedule for eating and sleeping - Keep yourself well hydrated There are other medications apart from painkillers that could be of help. If the pain persists or increases I would recommend meeting a neurologist.
