Hi Thanks for reaching out. You were diagnosed with MDD and you are now completely cured. You want to continue your studies. It is good that you want to continue your studies. You are an ambitious person. If you are keen on enrolling in a course go ahead. You can go back to studying and do it with full concentration. Consult a psychologist and explain about your goal to enrol in a course. A psychologist will help you improve focus and feel calm. Psychotherapy is an effective treatment to develop different learning styles and improve focus. You can think about a learning method that will suit you. With a psychologist you can talk about your goal and your passion. You can start by reading few lines from a book or newspaper. You can also explore your area of interest and research on it online. Once you are able to read with a calm state of mind you will be able to remember and recall what you know.
Next Steps
Consult a psychologist.

When you say that you have recovered from MDD (Major Depressive Disorder), I presume that you are not under any medication for that even now. There is a possibility that the medication you had for MDD caused your difficulties in remembering and which may be temporary. This is just a possibility and we cannot be sure about it. With such a possibility, I would suggest you to take up your difficulties in remembering, with your psychiatrist. Help is very likely to come from there. Therapy from the psychiatrist as well as from a psychologist has good potential to improve your mental retention. Also, please try to take up a stream of study that does not require a lot of mugging up.
Next Steps
Please consult your psychiatrist.

Work on association mechanism. Make a list of things that you have done successfully and start doing your studies with the same. Eg: You brush daily properly and regularly, so ready one page of your book immediately after brushing. Same with your breakfast and other small activities innlife that you do successfully.. This will help you believe that you can do it. Once you believe it, it will be highly possible for you.
Next Steps
Associate studies with all things in life that you have done successfully and do your studies alone with it.
Health Tips
Start imagining yourself with your degree in your hand and attending the graduation ceremony. Start writing about your feelings when you would have achieved your degree. EG: I feel so special with my degree in my hand. I am a new person now. I have the potential to achieve all my goals.

Absolutely, therapy can be really beneficial for helping you overcome these challenges and get back on track with your studies. Mind Sculpt is a great option to consider, especially because they have a lot of experience dealing with issues like yours. In the meantime, there are also some things you can do on your own to help improve your memory and learning abilities. For example, engaging in activities like puzzles, Sudoku, or even memory games can help stimulate your brain and improve cognitive function. Additionally, establishing a consistent study routine, breaking down information into smaller, manageable chunks, and using techniques like mnemonic devices can also make learning more effective. Remember, it's okay to take things one step at a time, and seeking help is a positive step towards achieving your goals
