Problem in lactation

Asked for Female, 30 Years

I delivered my baby 6 days ago. I have concieved with irregular period n pcod. I did face problem of lactation for 2 days after delivery n had to switch to formula milk incase of emergency. But now my baby z not sulking well while feeding n z ok with formula milk only. What can I do to help my baby to breastfeed?

This is a common issue. Do not worry it is because baby is used to easy drinking of formula milk. Breast feeding is a more tiring procedure and baby has to first latch properly and suck to start getting the milk.

Only if you start to feed, you will have more milk. So feed more frequently

Please check the positioning and latching of the baby. Aldo see that your nipples are not cracked or inverted which will again be a problem
