Problem i cannot understand
My cousin has this problem from past 8 months. She suddenly gets freezed or just standstill not responding to my call but i observed that she appears to be chewing something with smile on face. As if she is under some trance but when she becomes normal in about 5 to 10 minutes she does not remember any thing. Even if i hold her and make her sit she ask me when i came here although she is awake all the time.

She maybe be suffering from absence seizure. It maybe a type of fits or epilepsy where there is just a freezing of activities and no memory of what happened in that time. Also it can be a dissociative disorder which is caused due to stress. Please give more detailed information to help you more.
