Most SSRI’s including Serlift used for depression/ anxiety have a negative effect on sleep and are meant to improve concentration and alertness. However a minority of patients have a reversed experience. You seem to be in the majority category.
It is therefore best avoided at night. You may therefore wish to consider taking it in the morning after breakfast or something to eat (importantly not on an empty stomach). It takes a couple of days to show effect so visit the doctor for a review in a about that time (if possible a week) should things not improve for you. Change of medication may be considered in that situation.
Next Steps
Take serlift in the morning with meal for a couple of days
Go back to the doctor if things don’t improve in 4-5 days
