Hello respected doctors,
My baby is 12 days old and he is preterm born 35 weeks 6 days... I am giving brestmilk and formula milk.. doctor has advised to feed him every 4 hrs since he is only 2kgs when born.. however, baby mostly in deep sleep even for more than 4 hrs. Is it ok to wake up and feed the baby when in deep sleep..?

It is very important to wake up baby and feed. Sleeping baby doesn't mean Baby is fed well. Ideally the baby should wake up by own and demands feeding every 2 hourly. if not then wake baby up and stimulate and start giving feed.
