I'm considering a surgical solution to my phimosis. When researching this myself, I find preputioplasty to be the best option, if it leaves my foreskin looking normal.
My doctor suggests a dorsal slit. He describes it as making a slit and sewing to widen the prepuce (which sounds like a preputioplasty).
However, if the foreskin is narrow at the front, I might be left with an open slit.
Is this as good as it gets, or would a preputioplasty fix that problem without an open slit?
