Pregnency tests
Hi dr.,
My gynecologist suggest me to do a double marker test between 10 to 13 weeks of pregnancy but two of my friends who also r pregnant ,does not undergo this test. Is this mandatory test or should i skip this test

It's not a mandatory test but due to high incidence of chromosomal abnormalities many obstetrician prefer to be on safe side..
