Pregnency related
I am 8 weeks pregnant. In ultrasound there were 2 sac's visible, one with embryo with heart beat and other one empty. Empty sac appeared smaller in size compared to one with embryo. (Lmp 21 Dec 17) Q1. What are the chances of having second empty sac developing a embryo. Q2. What are the options available for aborting pregnency and till how many days of pregnency termination can be done

If there s empty sac at 8 weeks then it is a missed miscarriage and hence it ll not develop. However there s no need to terminate the pregnancy bcos of this as the first baby will grow normally like a singleton pregnancy. However if u still need MTP chances of failed medical management are more with twins ..hence a surgical evacuation is better choice
