Pregnancy while lactating

Is it true, pregnancy will be delayed while lactating the baby, with out the use of contraceptive ? Pls advice.

during exclusive breast feeding ovulation gets supressed for a while and gets irregular there after.So,pregnancy gets delayed but can happen due to erratic sudden ovulation without you getting ur first mences.So,very imoortant to use protection like barrier method or injectable progesterone contraception while lactating.
