Pregnancy related problem
Hello doctor...I am 20th week pregnant women...I have problem in left eye since two days.  Doctor said I have retinal detachment... Eye specialist has asked me for surgery.  is it safe in pregnancy... please reply

You are in 20th week of pregnancy. This is the safest time to have any operations. BUT you should have an operation only if you have no choice. Please consult with your Ophthalmologist if the operation can be postponed by another 6 months. That will be much better because however safe the operation may be during pregnancy, surely it can't be 100% safe.
