Pregnancy Query
Dr, I have used prega news to check if I am pregnant or not as I have not had my periods yet for this month. it has shown the positive result i.e. I'm pregnant. I don't know how reliable is prega news. Do I need to check it by some other HCG pregnancy test kit or what? what next should I do? and if I am pregnant should I and my partner stop having sex together immediately as the egg might get broken during sex? what are the precautions for the time being please help me out what should I do as I am willing to get pregnant. Thanks

Congratulations... Mostly Urine pregnancy test is reliable but if you want to confirm it you can do Beta Hcg (blood test). Start folic acid. Please visit obstetrician and confirm status of pregnancy. It's better to avoid physical relation in first trimester.

Congratulations! Urine pregnancy test is reliable to detect preganancy . But it does not detect the site of the pregnancy whether it is in the uterus ( intrauterine) or somewhere else (ectopic). So get an ultrasound (TVS) done or see your obstetrician. Start with folic acid. Avoid intercourse for first 3 months of preganacy. Best wishes!

Hi, congratulations. Your urine pregnancy test is reliable enough. There is no need to repeat another test. Start taking folic acid tablets. Having intercourse will not harm the pregnancy. Please visit an obstetrician to help you date your pregnancy and give you further advice about your pregnancy. Have a happy pregnancy.
