Hello.. I am 28 years old women.. 1.5 months back i did annual health check up.. came to know I have PCOD problem and have temporary thyroid .. I have been taking thyroid and other vitamin tablets suggested by doctor .. I increased wait 7-8 kg suddenly within 3-4 months as well beginning of 2018..planning for kids.. can I try now? Or is there any problem due to with all these health reasons.. also, during periods I haven't been seeing much bleeding.. from last couple months my cycle has changed a lot .. more than 45 days .. previously it 's 28- 35 days..I am completely scared because of this.. due to temporary thyroid, PCOD and weight gain etc can't I get pregnant at all.. planning to check thyroid in September once as doctor thyroid will cure in 1-2 months and try for kids .. even if I get pregnant .. will I face lot of health issues ? Last one question, if thyroid goes down then my weight will also reduces or not ?

These are common problems. You can try once they’re controlled. If you don’t get a pregnancy even after 6-7 months just see a fertility specialist once. Weight may not come down by itself. You’ll have to work for it.

Thyroid pill can only mask the TSH for sometime but doesn't do anything to heal the root cause of the problem which is not in your thyroid BTW.
