Pregnancy medicine doubts
Hi doctor. I am 9 weeks pregnant. I concieved normally in February first week. My all reports were absolutely normal including thyroid (TSH 5.21) before conception and I never took any medication, always leading healthy Lifestyle. My doctor is giving duphaston, ecosprin 150, folvite active and thyroxine 25 mg medicine from last 3 weeks. I suspect this is too much medication in early pregnancy and will have side effects. Please suggest if I continue.

of course this medicine so very vital and it is required for you otherwise your doctor would have not given you folic acid is something which is used for babies brain development and it is vital which is used in every other pregnancy. you are having subclinical hypothyroidism as the cutoff of first trimester is 2.5 so you have to take this medicine ecosprin is essential to make sure the heartbeat doesn't stop and make a missed abortion the first on helps in making the uterus relax and doesn't contract to give any sort of pain in the uterus so that there is no miscarriage happens all about medicines are absolutely safe and needed and so your doctor have given it and it suppose you want to stop then you have to ask your doctor whether it is absolutely needed for your condition because we need to see the ultrasound report Excel to see why the doctor has given ecosprin and Austin
