Hi, First of all congratulations as you are experiencing a wonderful journey of pregnancy . As per your concern about body weight of baby , average wt of 37 weeks old baby should be around 2.8 kg . Baby born with body wt lower than 2.5 kg are considered underweight . If baby is born under weight otherwise healthy it will just need extra care. You may visit your gynaecologist and take advice for your diet as it may help to increase your baby’s wt. And You may consult to paediatrician after baby is born, dr. Will advise you for the next step . Hope it will help! Wishing you a happy and safe pregnancy !
