Prediabetic test HbA1C query
I have been suggested HbA1C to detect whether i am pre diabetic or not please suggest the range of results for this test for both-ve , +ve results also diabetic condition

Hello....
HbA1C is a blood test which gives us an average of 3months of blood sugar levels....
So it is more specific n sensitive test to tell about our Diabetic Status....
When the result is below 6 %... that means one is non diabetic.....
Result between 6_7% indicates.... prediabetic state wherein usually the Doctor advices certain dietary restrictions and excercises which will help control your Sugar levels more better....
Result above 7% indicates that one is Most likely Diabetic and needs medication....
It will all also depend on the family history of diabetes.... lifestyle.... stress factors.... etc
