In recent times,
HBA1C test has been a more popular tool in diagnosing the
diabetes which calculates the amount of
sugar sticked to haemoglobin during its life span of 3 months.
My questions are,
1. Let's assume a normal person have had more sugary items and bad diet just before the test is done - let's say from week before or 3 days before the test is conducted, wouldn't it spike the readings and show false results?
2. After low carb diet for 3 months if HBA1C levels are normal then is the same person is no more diabetic?
3. Is a person is diagnosed as diabetic with one 7.4% reading of HBA1C alone?
Thanks in advance.
