Pre-exposure prophylaxis

Asked for Male, 30 Years

I wanted to know what if it is alright for anyone to start being on PrEP. Or are there certain conditions under which one should be on it. If it is fine for anyone then are the medicines available in India and do we need prescription to avail this. I recently came across this as an effective preventive measure against HIV. Please advise. Thanks
