Pott's disease - how long to recover
My father, aged 68, is in complete bed rest for the last 2.5 months and is taking anti TB medications. But now he started to walk or sit for a while. However, he is feeling some pain around the low back sides and it increases upon prolonged movement or sitting. Is it due to muscular weakness or could be Tb related? Please note 2.5 months ago, he was having severe back pain and was hospitalized with Sepsis and later diagonised Pott's disease. How long could it take for him to be mobile?
