Post Lumbar Puncture Headache
Hi, i had an LP done last Monday to rule out Viral Meningitis. The test was negative however i have had a severe headache ever since that is worse when i stand upright and is only relieved when i lay flat. I hear a blood patch can help in these situations, is this true. Can i have it at any point or is it only feasible up to one week after the LP??

The blood patch can be given at any time for post LP headache. You can try to drink lots of water and stay in bed for a few days.
