Post eye power correction surgery(SMILE)
Hello, I had the SMILE surgery 2 weeks ago. My vision is still little blurry. Doctors says it shall take upto 3 months to hav full recovery. But I am facing the problem is seeing the computer screen l. Words appear too much blurry and I am nervous . I am using the eye drops like aquim pf, pred forte, cyclomune and vigamox. When I apply these drops vision appears to be clear for some 5-10 min and goes back to blurry again. Is it the signs of healing or any problem.? Also for the blurry vision on computer I feel view would be better if I use reading glasses of +1.25 power. Also Is it ok to use these glasses temporarily until the healing is done for the work purpose or will it have any side effects? Please can you ans these 2 questions. Thanks

Dear concerned, Each person heals differently after refractive procedure. Some blur is expected post corneal refractive procedure which steadily improves with time. But usually this blur is not severe. Only your treating doctor will be in a position to give you the right advice after examining you physically. Blurring of vision which disappears temporarily on application of eyedrops could be a sign of dry eye which needs frequent use of preservative free lubricating eyedrops.

it's best you visit your treating doctor and follow advice.
