Post cellulitis swelling
Known case of CKD/DM/HTN had a cellulitis in left leg before couple of weeks..now resolved after antibiotics..now having swelling in leg from knee to foot and a ulcer is developing in base of  foot.. can i do mgso4 dressing for this swelling?

You can use MgSO4 dressing other than ulcer part of leg which has edema. Need further evaluation of ulcer and cellulitis e.g. Swab culture and sensitivity and antibiotic accordingly, Lower limb doppler sos So contact surgeon for further detailed treatment.

Clinical examination & picture of the wound & swelling is required before any advice. Kindly visit a General Surgeon for better evaluation and management.

For edema in leg, mgso4 dressing can be done but as ulcers are there, better connect with a call for details discussion regarding the disease & management
