  4. Possible Mucositis. Dry mouth and lips.

I was diagnosed with Mucositis around 5 days back. I am otherwise a helthy person. I am on Multivitamins right now and applying kenacort. Please suggest hiw long would tongue take to heal. Does it spread as well on the tongue before healing. I also face issues like dry mouth and lips.

Treatment is adequate. I'd suggest improving your diet and avoidance of alcohol or smoking. Also it may take upto 2 3 weeks for complete recovery
