Possible Fractured Scaphoid
2 Weeks ago, went to A&E with apparently possible fractured scaphoid and they gave me a splint.
Since, I have had intense pain, bruising and I snag my thumb or wrist on everything! I go back in 2 days but if it doesn't show up on the second set of X-rays is it possible to ask for a cast? I keep waking up in pain at night after catching my thumb.

Yes you need an x-ray of the wrist with the hand deviated outside to get a proper look at the scaphoid bone..even if there is no fracture you need to be on a scaphoid cast ideally for 2 to 3 weeks as there may be a bony contusion..
