Poor weight gain in baby
My baby will be four months old on 24 dec. last month on 10 nov, his weight was 5.0 kg. However, this month on 10 dec, his weight is only 5.3 kg. He is on exclusive breast feeding. Pl suggest what to do?

Dear parents ,
Breast feeding is an art.
Hold the baby in one arm keeping his head at elbow joint &grip his buttocks with palm of same arm. Start breast feeding &hold the palm of baby with your free hand, put pressure on palm of baby when ever is sleep or stop feeding.
Feed baby for 15to20minutes.
Put the baby on left shoulder &pat just back of stomach of baby for 5mintues to burpe.
After baby burped lay the baby on right hand side, putting a small pillow under the head so that head is above level of stomach.
Repeat Feeding at interval of 2&halfto 3 hours.

while feeding drink adequate liquids.
