My son received opv vaccine at birth and then ipv in 6th and 10th week and now will receive another ipv in 14th week on 5th oct 21
Have heard of polio camps all over India.
Should we get him those polio drops as well or we are good with the current doses.
Not sure of the difference between these opv, ipv, pulse polio drops.

Pulse polio vaccination is not that OPV dose mentioned in the immunization schedule of ur child….
So whether ur child has taken OPV acc to immunization schedule, pulse polio vaccination is highly recommended for herd immunity.. Meaning
All children less than 5 yrs of age are vaccinated on same day to prevent the transmission of virus in the community
