Pluerisy in lungs
For the past few days I am having an acute stabbing like pain below my left chest I am taking brufen 400 twice for pain and azithral 250 twice for infection since three days how long does it take to cure permanently and what other precautions should I take regarding diet ,rest . Occasionally I also have a cough with a little phelgm which increases the pain kindly advise .I am diabetic and on medication my chest x ray and ECG are normal .

Since you have an infection I would suggest you to change your antibiotics. Pleural infection will not resolve with azithromycin as the dose is not sufficient. You can continue brufen or other nsaids for pain. However it is important to add a antihistamine to control your cough and chest congestion. Also you might need nebulization to clear your airways.
