I have taken 1st dose of Covaxin 2days back . My dog which is not vaccinated and is 8 years old has bit me.Can I take rabies vaccine now? Took covaxin just 2 days ago. please respond it's urgent.My dog is totally vegetarian....and one more question A dog had bitten me 6 months back. I had taken the vaccination, but after 6 months, a dog bit me again. Is it necessary to take the vaccination again?....can i take rabipur or not.... I have taken first dose of covaxin

Rabies vaccine immunity will be 6 months..in between 6 months you have bite by a dog you can get post exposure vaccine...after 6 months.. You need new Antirabies vaccine schedule ( ARV) .. So get vaccine..no issues after COVAXIN you can get vaccine... Thank u

Yes you can should get vaccinated. But since you have been previously vaccinated, this time you'll only take 2 vaccines.
