Platelate counts
Hi sir...I have applied for health insurance and company has declined my request basis elevated platelate count.. currently it is 4.98..rest every thing is normal...can u pls suggest what does that mean and what should I do?

Hello... Do you have any previous blood reports .... check if they showed elevated levels of Platelets.... Actually it is just a marginal increase in the platelets.... so medically I don't see any problem.... the insurance company has all the rights to reject it or it will charge an additional charge to issue the policy....

Just relax... nothing to worry.... May be you can repeat the test after a week... for your psychological peace of mind.....
