Is a plastic container steamer safe for steam inhaling for cold and running nose? When water gets boiled in such a container, wont it harm the body?
I tried to search alternative product but in vain. Please suggest which would be the best given that water would be boiling at high temperatures in that container and we will be inhaling steam.

For long term use it is not recommended because it will form microplastics which can be inhaled via steam
And according to various research microplastics are cancer causing agent
So if you are concerned about it you can simply use hot boiling water in stainless steel utensils
