Pityriasis Rosea?
I am having skin infection since last 3 weeks. Checked with doctor (on day 3 itself) , he told Pityriasis Rosea but after testing a skin pigment, fungal infection was found. So I was prescribed an anti fungal medicine. After having it nothing helped and it spread drastically within the 3 weeks timeframe. Now doctor is saying it is pityriasis Rosea and the report was wrong as asking me to go for a biopsy. My question is what could be other possibilities? Affected areas : hand, chest, legs, back Itching, Redness I am scared now. Even my HR asked me to take leaves as it might be contagious.

The rash does look like pityriasis roads but I need better photos to confirm. Other possibilities should also be considered. Please call me or send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment advice. I cannot diagnose with these photos.
