Pink eye in kid
Hello my son is 20month old...who is suffering from viral conjunctivitis for the past 10 days... however after putting toba ointment and soha drops,his redness on his eyes disappears but still watery discharge after waking up from sleep...how long it will stop...how long should I put drops and ointment...I am putting ointment and drops morning and night before sleep... please help

It generally takes 10-14 days for conjunctivitis to get totally relieved. Can add tobramycin eye drop 4 times a day. If still no relief comes you should get the child examined by an ophthalmologist

If eye is red or pink more than 15 days as per your history, kid may have foreign body in his eye which causing repeated infection .Need slit lamp examination and promt treatment. Also if u have any history of any saline given in past days . Need to consult
